ADTECH

The Mobile App Trends 2026 report from Adjust was released and highlights how mobile marketing is becoming increasingly data-driven, with AI evolving into core infrastructure and strategies shifting from mobile-first to multi-platform. Gaming remained stable but saw strong growth in casual and strategy engagement; e-commerce sessions rose alongside more efficient CPIs and AI-driven personalization; and finance apps surged globally, especially in LATAM, driven by payments, wallets, and retention tactics. Across sectors, success hinges on smarter data use, retention optimization, and leveraging AI for personalization and growth.

AppMagic released their casual games report 2025. The report shows revenue still heavily concentrated in Puzzle ($8.2B) and Casino ($6.9B), which together drive over 70% of the market, but growth is shifting toward Merge-2 and Hybridcasual Puzzles. While legacy hits dominate Match-3, Slots, and Farming, rising challengers, LiveOps innovation, and hybrid monetization models are reshaping competition heading into 2026.
