Apple officially reveals a new Games app that will be pre-installed and designed to house users’ game libraries, social connections, and Apple Arcade.
Google has quietly built and released its own standalone Instant Games app. The standalone app features YouTube Playables, a collection of HTML5 games previously available in the YouTube app since 2023. It includes titles like Om Nom Run and Chess Classic, is accessible globally via the Google Play store, and has over 10,000 installs.
