Industry: Miniclip has acquired Cyprus-based mobile games developer Easybrain from Embracer Group for $1.2 billion.
Plarium has been acquired by MTG for $620m. Plarium, who made Raid: Shadow Legends, has been up for sale since May this year.
Supercell has acquired Space Ape Games and plans to turn it into Supercell’s first London office by spring 2025.
Reports: Singular’s Q3 2024 report was released. It highlights mobile marketing trends: rising ad spend, booming app monetization, intense competition for user acquisition, and shifts to probabilistic measurement amid antitrust pressures.
Games: MONOPOLY GO!’s new “Friendship Pays” campaign sees big celebrities in their new ad such as Will Ferrell voicing the Monopoly man, Jason Momoa, Keke Palmer and Chris Pratt.
