GAMING

Industry:

The winners for the Pocket Gamer Mobile Awards have been announced. The awards celebrate the industry’s biggest and best, from games to marketers and service providers. Congratulations to this year’s winners!

Following the courtroom victory of Epic Games over Google earlier this year, which forced the Play Store to open up to competing platforms, Skich has launched its alternative, Skich Store, on Android. With this launch Skich is hoping to offer developers and players a new alternative that doesn’t rely on Google Play’s regulations.

Our very own CEO Çağlar Eğer joins Transform Gaming as Investor and Board Member. Transform Gaming is a consolidator of social gaming developers and publishers, focused on sharing best practices, optimising revenue and cost synergies, and enhancing the player experience through a broader game portfolio, improved content curation, and next-generation Live Ops management.

Other big reveals from Gamescom 2025’s Opening Night Live include Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight and Indiana Jones for Switch 2. The highlight of the night went to the announcement of Black Myth: Zhong Kui, the sequel to the multi-million selling Black Myth: Wukong.

 

 

ADTECH

The 8th edition of the Singular Quarterly Trends is here. Some important highlights include the surge of CTRs and CPIs and the continued growth of rewarded ad networks. Exmox ranked 3rd on Android and 5th on iOS for fastest growth, while we also sustained momentum from Q1 into Q2. We’re proud of this achievement, and our expansion into new geos is just the beginning of our continued growth journey.

Mobile marketing analytics platform AppsFlyer is in talks with a private equity firm to be acquired in a deal worth an estimated $3.5 billion to $4bn. Negotiations are said to be at an advanced stage.

Appcharge, a leading direct-to-consumer platform for mobile game publishers, has raised $58M in a Series B round led by IVP, with participation from Playrix and existing investors. The funding follows the launch of its iOS Payments SDK and AppDirect, expanding its D2C solutions to help publishers maximize profits and own player relationships.
